Ms. Alexis - Founder & Director
Our founder brings nearly 20 years in early childhood education, guiding infants through preschoolers and leading teams of caregivers.
Her background includes classroom teaching, program management, and daily hands on care, which means TooManyKidzs is organized with families in mind.
She holds a Child Development Associate credential, maintains CPR and First Aid certification, and keeps our New York State license requirements at the center of every decision.
As Director, she greets parents at the door, checks in with staff, and spends real time with the children. Her philosophy is simple, safe, predictable days help children feel brave enough to explore.
Ms. Dakota - Toddler Lead Teacher
Our lead teacher brings nearly two years of early childhood experience, supporting children from infants up to ten years old across classroom settings.
Her background spans both center-based and home-based daycare environments, which means our toddler room is built around nurturing, hands-on growth.
She completes all required state childcare trainings, maintains CPR and First Aid certification, and keeps positive, age-appropriate guidance at the center of every lesson.
As Lead Teacher, she welcomes toddlers each morning, connects closely with parents, and guides daily play. Her philosophy is simple: warm, predictable routines help children feel confident enough to learn.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a caring, home based environment where infants, toddlers, and preschoolers feel loved, supported, and truly excited to learn. Nearly 20 years of early childhood experience shape our daily routines, classroom setups, and the way we comfort each child. We blend warmth with age appropriate structure so children gain confidence, friendships, and early learning skills, while parents feel calm knowing their child is safe and understood.
Family-Centered, Inclusive Care
TooManyKidzs grows out of a simple belief, every child deserves to feel seen, safe, and celebrated. As a family owned, Black owned, female owned daycare, we value representation and welcome families of many cultures and backgrounds.
Our smaller, family style groups help children build real friendships and close bonds with caregivers. We listen carefully to parents, respect home routines, and partner with you through each stage between infancy and preschool. The result is a daycare that feels like an extension of your own family, with the support of experienced early childhood professionals.
How We Care
Our work is guided by simple promises to families. We keep children safe through licensed oversight, CPR and First Aid certified staff, and security cameras on premises. We nurture growth with an early childhood education curriculum that supports infants, toddlers, and preschoolers at every stage.
We communicate clearly through daily activity reports and open, ongoing conversations with parents. We honor each child as an individual, using small group care to notice the little things that matter. Together, these values create dependable childcare and real peace of mind while you focus on your day.
